Kelly Nicole Courson Corbett passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023. She was born on March 27, 1984 in Hahira, Georgia to Lester Busby Courson and Stacy Lawler Harper.
Kelly was a Christian and had a heart bigger than the moon. She was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend. The love she had for her family was boundless and she was fiercely protective of the people she cared about. Kelly was selfless and would give someone the shirt off her back. She saw the good in people when others could not. She was a loyal and dependable woman that never backed down from her principles. Kelly had an infectious smile, never met a stranger, and lit up any room she was in. She had the ability to lift up others while hiding her own worries and will be missed by so many. Whether kayaking, floating down the river, or hunting for arrowheads, she loved the outdoors. Kelly enjoyed spending time with her family, doing arts and crafts, and listening to music. But more than anything she was a beautiful soul whose life, and the impact she had on others, can’t be summed up in a paragraph. Rest high Kissy Baby.
Kelly is survived by her husband: Scott Corbett; father: Busby Courson; children: Jonathan Watson and Selah Courson; brothers: Eric McCallum and Chance Courson.
She is preceded in death by her mother: Stacy Harper and son: Elijah Hammonds.
