Edna June Graham

Ms. Edna Graham, age 93, of Quitman, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021.  She was born in Hollis, Oklahoma to the late Sterling and Edith Hager.  Ms. Graham retired from Beech Island Knitting here in Quitman and was known to many local citizens as the “Lady that walks.”  She loved the Lord and her church, First Baptist Church of Quitman. 

She is survived by her children: Joetta (Victor) Henderson; Jimmy (Joe) Mullinax; Jennifer Strange; Son-in-Law: Donnie Barker; grandchildren: Marcael Hager, John Hearon (Charlotte), Brian Henderson (Trixie), Rebecca (Rosco) Henderson Bass, Kim Rigdon, Jamie (Patty) Monk, Chad Kinsey, Joe Hughes, Candy Hughes, Stacy (Steven) Freedle, and Rhonda (Jeff) Crider; 19 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Sterling and Edith Hager, brother; Bill Hager, daughter; Billie Barker, and son-in-law Jim Strange.

She also leaves behind two very special friends; Jimmy (Pee Wee) Christian and Mattie Bartee.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 4, 2021, in the Chapel of Warren Funeral Services of Quitman with the Rev. Steve Shierling officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm and continue until the time of the service.  Interment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery following the service.
