Betty Barker Davis

Ms. Betty Barker Davis, or Mama to her children and Mamaw to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was the most loving, kind, and compassionate woman. She loved spending time with family and friends, square dancing with her husband, and enjoying time with her grandchildren. She loved spending her free time at the beach.

She is survived by her son: Rusty (Glenda) Taylor; daughter: Amy K. Taylor; grandchildren: Brent (Tammy) Taylor, Becky Taylor, Alaina (Cody) Taylor Bourff, Aislinn Taylor, Rose (Steven) Taylor Curtis, Daniel Davis, Sarah Davis, Hunter Brinson; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband: Billy R. Davis; her mother: Netty Barker Long; her father: Russell Barker; son: Jeffery Taylor; and grandchild: Ryan Davis.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Warren Funeral Services of Quitman with Pastor Steve Shierling officiating.  The family will receive friends at 1:00pm until the hour of the service.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Quitman.
