William Dearll Edmondson

Mr. William D. Edmondson of Quitman passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday August 21, 2023. Mr. Edmondson was the son of the late James Coleman Edmondson and Ada Bell Willis Edmondson. Mr. Edmondson enjoyed farming. He loved his cows, cotton, and had a special place in his heart for his dogs. His favorite pastime was to ride around his farm and watch the classic westerns. Survivors include his wife, Mary Jean Edmondson, sons; Tracy Alan (Leanne Beaty) Edmondson, William Coleman (Jennifer) Edmondson, Robbie Edmondson, Sr. Sisters; Joyce Jordan, Faye Baggett, Brother; Clarence Edmondson. Grandchildren; Danielle Fortner, Amanda Faye (CW) Hutchinson, Adam Cole Edmondson, Robbie Edmondson, Jr. Great Grandchildren; Carson, Clifton, and Levi Daniel, Stepchildren; Kim Huffmaster, Brian Dunham. Mr. Edmondson was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children Faye Bruce Edmondson, Brothers; Earl Edmondson, James Edmondson, Louis Edmondson, Dennis Edmondson, Sister; Lois Barrs, Stepdaughter, Carol Huffmaster. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday August 25, 2023, from 6 to 8 pm in the Warren Funeral Services Chapel with Mr. Sonny Batts officiating.
