Ronald "Ronnie" Weldon

Ronald "Ronnie" Weldon, age 58 of Valdosta, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020. He was born to the late Audis Weldon, Sr. and Dora Weldon Montgomery. Mr. Weldon served in the United States Army and was an avid and skilled carpenter as well as mechanic. Ronnie was employed by James Warren & Associates, Inc. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, and he also enjoyed playing poker. Ronnie was a hard worker. He was a regular at Mikki's Bar & Grille playing in billiard tournaments and Texas Holdem tournaments. He enjoyed spending time with his friends. He is survived by his children: Nick Cooper of Valdosta, Christina Brogdon of Valdosta; grandchildren: Ryker & Rylan Cooper, and Conner Tyson; siblings: Donna (Fred Roberson) Decker of Valdosta, Shirley (Van) Whiddon of Valdosta, David (Sharla) Weldon of Orange, TX, his twin Donald (Gail) Weldon of Savannah, and Joseph Weldon of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by his father: Audis Weldon, Sr., mother: Dora Weldon Montgomery, and brother: Audis Weldon, Jr.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening, June 25 in the chapel of Warren Funeral Services of Quitman from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.
