Mary Ross Jarvis

Mary Ross Jarvis, of Greenville, Florida passed away Sunday evening, July 24, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born on February 23, 1935, in Greenville, South Carolina. She married the love of her life, Richard Frank Jarvis, on November 17, 1956.

Mary was known as an amazing seamstress, a wonderful cook, a very involved church member, and a diligent prayer warrior.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Frank Jarvis; her son, Tommy Jarvis; and two brothers, James Chapman and Randall Ross.

Mary is survived by her loving daughter Lynn (Jimmy) Ratliff; three grandchildren: Magan (Jeff) McCarthy, Jacqueline (Shane) Roark, and Jimbo (Jessica) Ratliff; three great-grandchildren: Emery and Wyatt Ratliff and Gavin McCarthy. She is also survived by two brothers, Thomas Ross and Jesse Ross Jr.; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 28th at 11:00 am at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church, with Reverend Bryant Thigpen officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am until the hour of service. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery, Greenville, Florida.
