Glenda Renae Singletary

Glenda (Boo) Renea Singletary, age 55, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022, at South Georgia Medical Center.

She is survived by her mother Betty Hughes of Atlanta, brother Michael Singletary and his wife Michelle of Atlanta, sister Delaine Englebert and her husband Gary of West Virginia. Her children James Andrew Sutton of West Virginia, Joshua Mark Sutton of Valdosta and Melissa Renea Dyess of Valdosta; and grandchildren Josalyn Sutton, Kaleb Johns, Jaylyn Sutton, Madalyn Sutton, Brianna Poucher, Kynleigh Poucher, Jackson Sutton, and Brooklyn Dyess.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents HB and Gladys Hughes of Lowndes County. Glenda worked many years with her cousin's wife, Sarah Rountree providing lawncare services throughout Lowndes County.  Glenda lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed spending her evenings on the front porch with her best friend Sarah Rountree. No formal services will be held at her request.
