Brenda Jean Rushe

Mrs. Brenda Rushe, age 64 of Valdosta, passed on to her heavenly home on Friday, April 28, 2023.

Brenda retired from South Georgia Medical Center after 25 years working as a medical/oncology transcriptionist.

Brenda loved her family and friends and was a fierce Cleveland Browns fanatic. She also enjoyed fishing, riding horses, and loved watching Vampire Diaries. She will be missed by all who loved her.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 47 years: Jeffery Rushe; her daughter Jessica (Cody) Copeland (Douglas, GA); brother: Terry Eddy, (Holiday, FL); sisters; Linda Ross (Iowa); Gloria Raines (Hahira, GA); grandchildren: Sadie and Hadley Copeland (Douglas, GA); nephews: Tyler and Trevor Raines (Hahira, GA) as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents: Earl William and Betty Jean Eddy; her brother Bob Eddy; and her infant daughter, Angelique Nicole Rushe.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 2:00-5:00pm, in the chapel of Warren Funeral Services Quitman
