Anthony Mungello, Jr.

Anthony Mungello, Jr., age 84, of Brooks County, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023. He is survived by his wife Lori Morris Mungello.

Mr. Mungello retired from Chrysler Automotive. He was a Supervisor of the Quality Control Chrysler Automobile Build Line. He was proud of his working association with UAW Chrysler as well as the proud owner of his Dodge Ram with the custom tag "Big Ram."

He was proud of his military service, becoming a part of the US Navy. He served during the Vietnam Conflict as an Aerial Photographers Mate with the Naval Air Station Key West at Boca Chica Key. He was a dedicated Lion for over 40 years in Pennsylvania, Ohio and Georgia, working at the district level in Pennsylvania, where he met his wife of 18 years.  Anthony loved his Country and community and proudly served wherever and whenever he could.

Mr. Mungello loved woodworking. Although it was a hobby, he enjoyed it tremendously and was very proud of the seasonal outdoor fixtures he made for their yard including an American Flag that was always displayed. In his youth he was proud of the work his father accomplished in building movie theaters as well as a drive-in. He enjoyed his Italian heritage and loved "Rat Pack" music as well as being enamored with Marilyn Monroe.

Mr. Mungello was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Jessie (Trotter) Mungello and a sister.
